Look up a full section
Retrieval only returns relevant snippets, never the whole thing — for the complete, unedited text of a specific section, look it up directly by number (e.g. 2.101, 52.212-4, or 1361).
Processing time depends on content, not just file size — documents heavy in images, tables, scanned/OCR pages, or dense technical content (code, command syntax, config files) take noticeably longer than plain text of the same length. A short prose document usually finishes in under a minute; a long, complex document can take several minutes.

This is a local test instance of ORION, running entirely on this machine via Ollama. Policy & Law uses hybrid dense/sparse retrieval over a local legal corpus to answer questions with cited sources, plus a direct section-lookup tool for retrieving the full, unedited text of a specific section by number. Document Chat lets you upload a PDF, Word document, or text file and ask questions about it directly — this feature calls AskORION's cloud-hosted pipeline rather than running locally. Translate and Summarize send requests directly to the model with no retrieval involved. Write is planned but not yet implemented.
